Weddings, how we love them, and then there comes the Royal Wedding- the cherry on top. The anticipation, the never-ending documentaries, the cake, peonies, white roses and of course the traditional baby’s breath flowers. I must say I am having a good binge of all things royal and enjoying every last bit of the excitement.
No wedding is without drama, I don’t know what it is but there always is one hitch or the other. I remember my wedding day, almost 5 years ago. There was so much to do, the excitement was bubbling over, I barely slept a wink the night before as I couldn’t wait to say I do. I was 25 minutes late, the interesting part was, I had no idea I was that late. I had family from different parts of the world watching via a live camera. I still get comments about how I made them wait given the time difference. Oops!
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle look so good together. Her beauty does shine through and warms hearts. Her glow makes it certain they are so very in love and there’s something about love that people gravitate towards. People love celebrating love and it is no surprise the world indeed is celebrating with this gorgeous couple on their BIG day.
I will be enjoying the day, savouring every last detail of proceedings. The guest fashion, the hats…oh the hats! My guilty pleasure. I can’t wait to set my eyes on her dress. I bet it will embody every iota of beauty, femininity and love. It sure will tell a love story with its intricate details, carefully placed beads or perfectly sewn-on flower appliqués. Whatever it would look like, beautiful will be the word on everyone’s lips and warm arms open, welcoming her into the Royal Family.
